The stock market rallied in the ultimate minutes of trading to place the most important indexes’ losing streaks to bed.
The S&P 500 rose 0.1%. while the Nasdaq Composite closed up 0.5%. Each rose on the week to snap their weekly losing streaks at 4. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 31 points, or 0.1%, and snapped its two-week losing streak. The large three indexes all rose in the identical week for the primary time since Feb. 14.
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was right down to 3.95% this week, while the 10-year yield was right down to 4.25%.
